Hello, and welcome to the Nowhere Gallery Website and Blog!!
My name is Thomas Hooper and this is my tattoo studio, If you’re reading this, you’re likely familiar with my work through, Instagram, Rock of Ages Tattooing, Saved Tattoo, Hoopers Electric or Meditations in Atrament, my blog from the distant past when I moved from Frith Street Tattoo in London to New York Adorned in NYC. Thank you for being here and for your continued support of my creative journey—it means the world to me.
For those who don’t know, I’m Thomas Hooper, a fine artist and tattooer based in Brighton. A year ago I opened my new tattoo studio, Nowhere Tattooing, (@nowhere_tattooing) and this Blog will act as a newsletter where myself and the whole shop will share tattoos, drawings, stories, photos, videos, and updates from the studio, along with some of the art, books, music, and ideas that inspire myself and the residents working here, you can check out there work here https://nowheretattooing.co.uk/
This studio wouldn’t exist without the incredible people who helped bring it to life. To my friends and family: thank you for all your hard work during the renovations, your encouragement when things were tough, and for believing in this dream. To the residents who now tattoo here: thank you for shaping this space into something we can all be proud of, this past year has been amazing and it feels like home because of you.
I’m beyond excited for what’s ahead. Nowhere Tattooing is officially open 7 days a week, 11am–5pm, or by appointment, so if you’re in Brighton, please stop by, whether it’s for a tattoo, to say hello, or just to check out the studio.
